Booking Terms & Conditions

For Hypnotherapy, Massage & Reiki Services

1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with James Greenaway Therapies (“the Practitioner” / “the Company”). By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Therapeutic Massage

  • Reiki / Energy Healing

  • Wellness Consultations

2. Client Eligibility

Clients must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have written consent from a parent/guardian.

  • Provide accurate health and personal information during intake.

  • Disclose any medical conditions, medications, or recent surgeries that may affect treatment.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a session is deemed unsafe or inappropriate for the client.

3. Booking & Payment
  • Sessions must be booked in advance through our scheduling system, by email, phone, or in person.

  • Payment can be made by credit/debit cards, cash.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and 'no shows' may result in a late cancellation fee of £15 for a 40min/55min appt and £30 for a 90min/120mon appt.

  • Cancellation fees need to be paid before any future bookings are made.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

5. Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time. Full session fees apply.

If you are more than [15] minutes late, the appointment may be canceled and considred a no-show.

6. Health & Safety

For massage and hands-on services:

  • You may undress to your comfort level. Professional draping will be used at all times.

  • We reserve the right to stop a session if client behavior is unsafe, inappropriate, or violating boundaries.

For hypnotherapy:

  • Results are not guaranteed. Hypnotherapy does not replace medical or psychological treatment.

  • Clients must continue care with their healthcare provider(s) when applicable.

7. Professional Boundaries

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Sexual or inappropriate comments or behavior

  • Harassment, intoxication, or aggressive conduct

    Sessions will end immediately if boundaries are violated; full payment will still be required.

8. Medical Disclaimer
  • I do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions.

  • Hypnotherapy, massage, and reiki are complementary wellness services, not substitutes for medical care.

  • Always consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness therapy.

9. Liability Waiver

By booking, you agree to release the Practitioner from liability for:

  • Any unintentional injury, discomfort, or temporary side effects

  • Results that differ from your personal expectations

You acknowledge that services are offered as supportive, holistic practices.

10. Confidentiality

Client information is kept strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm, court order).

11. Gift Cards & Packages
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and may have expiration dates.

  • Prepaid packages are non-refundable but may be transferable to another person upon request.

12. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including (but not limited to):

  • Safety concerns

  • Health contraindications

  • Disrespectful or abusive behavior

13. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.
